MEDIA 360 BUILDS A "GREAT WALL"...

  a video wall, that is.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. If that's true, then how much can you say with a video wall featuring nine different monitors playing live video twenty-four hours a day? The answer is a lot.

Video walls are popping up all over the place these days, as retailers and businesses look for new and exciting ways to wow their customers. For PacifiCare of California, one of the state's largest HMOs, a video wall was the perfect way to bring their customer service lobby to life, with vivid sights and sounds. Nine large monitors display a series of short video segments, including free public service announcements and programs on health.

In addition to its visual appeal, the video wall informs, motivates, entertains, and keeps both employees and customers up to date with the latest news from PacifiCare. According to Media 360 VP Paul Yates, what makes the video wall so powerful is that it's so versatile. "Watching it for just a few minutes, visitors to PacifiCare's lobby can learn health tips, find out about the company's quality achievements, and even track stock prices. The programming itself is very inexpensive to produce but delivers a lot of information."

An even deeper purpose of the video wall is to remind employees and customers alike that PacifiCare is more than just an insurance company - it is an organization dedicated to improving health care. By featuring PacifiCare employees in "Up Close and Personal" segments, the video wall also helps employees get to know each other better while giving customers a glimpse at the people behind the scenes.
